Directory: There was brief discussion of the letter and form to be sent to groups that we would like to include in our directory of progressive organizations in the state. Please forward any names and addresses of these groups to Paige Roberts so that we can send them the form for inclusion in our directory.

Open Door Forums: Discussion centered around our planned series of forums on the radical religious right and that movement's influence on major social issues. The goal of these is to educate ourselves and others and to build membership and interest in Common Ground. Agreement was reached on the following schedule for the first three forums, all of which are to be held on third Thursdays of each month at the Springfield College School of Human Services in Manchester Arrive at 7pm for networking, the program will begin promptly at 7:30pm. Each forum will consist of two one-hour sessions, with a question and answer at the end of the evening to encourage dialogue on connections between the two sessions as well as opportunities for action. We are in the process of lining up speakers. We encourage information tables to promote networking between New Hampshire's progressive organizations. A committee was set up to address publicity needs, spcifically through newspapers, colleges, churches, and national anti-right groups such as People for the American Way, Interfaith Alliance, Americans United for Separation of Church and State.

September 19 Religion: History of the Right/ Mainstream Religion October 17 Education/ Economics November 21 Gays/Labor

Issues to be addressed at future Open Door Forums include, but are not limited to: women, arts, health care, militia, environment, media, people of color/ethnic. We have not yet determined how we will combine these issues.
